Lajwanti – HFLP 3557 – (Condition 85-90%) – LP Record
Lajwanti is a 1958 Indian drama film directed by Narendra Suri. It was entered into the 1959 Cannes Film Festival, where it was nominated for the Palme d’Or for Best Film. Having been unjustly accused of having an affair, a dutiful and loving wife is thrown out of the house by her husband and forced to abandon her baby. When mother and child are eventually reunited, the mother faces an uphill struggle to regain the love of her daughter.
