Somu is a young farmer who lives in a villages with his mother. Aarti, a rich girl meets Soma and teases him along with her friends on a vacation. Aarti’s grandfather Lalaji wants Aarti to marry soon. Aarti is in no hurry for marriage. Lalaji has a serious heart attack and asks Aarti to marry Pran, a family relative. Aarti dislikes Pran and in order to save Lalaji’s life, Aarti lies to Lalaji that she is in love with Somu who is a very rich man. Lalaji starts recovering.
