| Rafiq Sagar born on 1st November, 1953, at Bikaner, hailsfrom a family steeped in musical tradition. At the Tender age of 15,he started learning Indian classical music from his brother Ustad Shamshuddin Khan Chandwani. Subsequently, he took a diploma in Indian classical music. Rafiq Sagar composes and sings ghazals, with a distinctive style.
