Shujaat Husain Khan (সুজাত হুসেন খান)(born 19 May 1960) is one of the greatest North Indian musician and sitar player of his generation. He belongs to the Imdadkhani gharana (school of music). He has recorded over 100 albums and was nominated for a Grammy Award for Best World Music Album for his work with the band Ghazal with Iranian musician Kayhan Kalhor. He also sings frequently. Enayet: was born into a musical family, his grandfather, the late great Ustad Kader Buksh was acknowledged as one of India’s foremost musicologist/musician. Enayet learned the tabla from his father, Ustad Hamid Hossain, a very well known Indian music teacher and musician based in the United States.
