The Ortofon OM 5E is a moving magnet cartridge (MM) with an elliptical shaped stylus that provides balanced and distortion-free playback for general purpose applications.

As found on introductory turntables such as the hugely popular Pro-Ject Debut, the Ortofon OM5E is a highly affordable but very competent hi-fi cartridge. Using the same body type as the rest of Ortofon’s instantly recognisable OM series, this model is a great accompaniment to your entry-level hi-fi set-up.

Please note, any OM-series replacement stylus will fit in this body, including the Stylus 78.
